6 months!

My little cutie is growing up so much! She turned 6 months on 11-11-11! At her doctor's appointment, she weighed 16 lbs. 13 oz, and was 26 inches tall. That's the 75th percentile for both. :) She's finally starting to get some hair too! Although, still not enough to know for sure what color it will be. Sometimes it looks brown and sometimes red. Oh well. Here's some cute pictures of her. :)

 Okay, look at these jeans!! They were given to us from a friend, and they're skinny jeans. They have rhindstones, fake holes, and are so funny! I love how it looks like she's posing!

 PIANO!! She likes to hit the keys, and sometimes sings with me when I play and sing. She loved playing this piano, because the bench was higher so she was closer to the keys.

So, we had some ribs that were in the freezer and needed to be used up. I decided to look up a recipe, which was hard b/c most had bbq sauce, which I can't have b/c I can't eat tomatoes without getting sick. I finally found a garlic herb recipe, and added some potatoes and carrots. It was sooo yummy! My first time making ribs was a success and I was so proud!

 2 Weekends ago, we went to Mesa to see my parents. Aimee and her family came and we all took some family pictures at the Mesa temple. Here are some of the ones Aimee took.

Firsts

This month has had a lot of firsts for Evlyn. Some good, some no so good. Let's get the not-so-god out of the way first. 2 weeks ago, she had a temperature of 100.2. I called the nurse to see if I should give her something for it, and about 30 min. later, she felt warmer. So I took her temp. again and it was 102.2! I called the doctor and scheduled an appointment for her. They did a strep test, and it was negative. Then, they put a catheder in my poor baby! She was screaming so hard I thought she might stop breathing. And, all I could do was hold her little hand and kiss her forhead. :( Not fun. Well, the test came back that she had a bladder infection. There's 1rst #1. Poor baby. They perscribed antibiotics, which made her sick. So, I took her back, and a different doctor found an ear infection too. They switched anti-biotics, and she's doing much better! Phew! I have to take her in on Thursday to run some tests though, b/c they want to make sure the bladder infection wasn't caused by an abnormality with her UT. :( Okay. Now for the better things.

1rst Picnic! Jared had the weekend off from school work, so I planned a picnic in the park! We walked, and ate. :) And, stopped at a yard sale on the way. Here's Jared with our picnic basket we got for our wedding!
