1rst Easter!!

Yesterday was Evlyn's first Easter, and my mom got all of the granddaughters matching dresses. Here's Evlyns! And, here's an Easter egg hunt we had with Jared's family. 

 She loved looking around to watch the other children going crazy for eggs. It was hard to get her to look at the camera!

 She figured out how to open it and found gum!! Don't worry, I took it away after the pic. :)

 Haha! Jared snapped this one and I think it's my favorite. It's so funny!

 This is from last weekend, during General Conference. She must've loved it, because she was so happy lol!

 She's getting so strong!

 This was at church yesterday. She actually kept a clip in her hair for a little!

*Evlyn is almost 11 months old

*She walks really well, more than she crawls now. 

*She seems like she grows taller every day

*She's such a happy girl!

*Her hair seems really red sometimes, but it's still so short it's hard to tell.

*She's a very observant girl and very smart. She puts lids on containers, the socket protectors in the sockets, and tries to feed us when we're trying to feed her.

*She LOVES baths!

*She climbs on everything, and can wriggle out of everything! (the stroller even when she's buckled, the high chair, and even a straight jacked that the doctor put on her!)

*I  just can't get over how cute she is!

Lots of 1rsts!!!

It's been a little while, so a lot has happened since the last post!!

We took Evlyn to her first baseball game, and we went with Jared's family. It was a lot of fun!

 This was on Saturday, March 9. Then, on Monday, Jared's sister from Texas was still in town, so we went to the train park with the little cousins! Jared was at work though. Kiana, Jared's sister, let Evlyn borrow this adorable little hat!

 And, they had a carousel! So, this was Evlyn's first time on one! She grabbed on to that pole right away, and then just sat there. When it started, she seemed a little scared, but I smiled and said, "weee!" Then, she loved it!! She kept looking up at me and smiling. :) Cutie.

 Then, we got to ride a train! Evlyn's first train ride!! It was sunny!

 Then, everyone was EXHAUSTED! Here's Evlyn on the ride home.

 This was a few weeks ago, but Evlyn loves to chew on things. So, we gave her this carrot and it kept her occupied for a little. I like to give her things like that while I'm cooking dinner, so that I can get more done. :P

For St. Patrick's day, I made green pancakes. Jared made a gourmet one, with banana's blackberries, blackberry jelly, and chocolate.

 Here's mine with just chocolate chips haha. Of course, I put peanut butter on it though. :)

 Then, later we went to Mesa. I'm so bummed I forgot my camera, but Jared and I went to Skateland! I got a groupon, so we got a great deal! My mom watched Evlyn for us while we skated and had a fun little date! Later, Aimee had a birthday party for Brixton. Here's Jared outside playing with Aimee's kids. And, Evlyn, enjoying the grass!

 Then, Evlyn rode a bike for the first time!! Jared helped her, of course.

We've had a very eventful few weeks, but it's been great!!

4 teeth!!

My cutie now has 4 teeth! And, I finally got a picture of the top 2! 

 She absolutely LOVES water, and I thought this picture was funny! She's really reaching for it!

 She started this thing where she loves to feed other people! It's so funny! She does it with food, her pacifier, and other things. She thinks it's so funny!

 She climbed in her car seat and just sat there for a little.

 Here she is playing with Daddy's valentine's day balloon! It stayed floating for almost 3 weeks!

 And, she's now a little dare devil! She tries to stand and balance on EVERYTHING!! She's jumped out of her stroller more than once, and here she is surfing on her swing. I have to keep a close eye on her all the time!

 Random side: I'm always excited when I get good deals! I got all of this (1 pineapple, 4 pears, 4 avocados, 8 oz. mushrooms, a dozen large eggs, 4 mangoes, 2 apples) and 6 onions I forgot to put in the picture, for $6.33! And, that's going to 1 store, and not using any coupons!

 And, here are some more food experiments. Here, I made some flax seed crackers. They're yummy! All they have is flax seeds and some salt.

 Here's a strange experiment. I bought a huge box of an off-brand of fruit loops for 99cents, but we don't really like them.So, I found a cookie recipe that has fruit loops and tried them out. I don't really like them either. :( But, most of them got eaten at a Relief Society pot luck! yay!!

 I had to throw in another smile! There's the bottom teeth!

 And, here's Evlyn playing with her little cousin, Margo. They are 2.5 months apart, but almost the same size now! It's cute that they're interacting more too!

Aside from being a dare devil, Evlyn is definitely showing more personality! She's very determined, and very smart! She also moves all over the place and gets into everything! We love playing with her and making her laugh! And, she now takes about 4 steps on her own very well! I hope I'll be able to get it on tape soon! She is also very independent and tries to feed herself. (She takes the food/spoon out of my hand and tries to do it herself) She is also a HUGE flirt! At the store, or wherever we are, she loves to smile and yell at people until they talk to her. Then she'll clap, keep smiling, and keep making cute noises. We love our little princess and it's crazy to think she's almost 10 months old already!!!
