Been a long time

So, It's been a really long time, and my friend Laurel wanted me to update. So, here it goes!

 Evlyn is hilarious and cute and I can't believe how big she is getting!

 I cut my bangs all by myself. One day while Evlyn was sleeping, I just decided to grab some scissors and give myself bangs. lol I've never done that!

 I was in a musical with our Stake, called Sussical the Musical. It was a blast, and I got to be 3 different characters.

 Evlyn loves water.

 On Halloween, we went to the AZ State fair. This is the butterfly exhibit.

 For our Trunk-or-Treat, we went with a Brave theme. Jared was a suitor, Evlyn a little bear, and I was Merida.

 Jared and I did a scavenger hunt, which was fun. One of the items was to make a 6 person human pyramid.

 Evlyn loves to draw and I'll take any snuggle time I can get!

 She loves to walk in anyone's shoes.

 So pretty!

 For my b-day, we went to Tempe marketplace and there was a HUGE Christmas tree!!

 Evlyn ran up and put the balls in. haha she kept putting them in the one that isn't worth any tickets, but she loved it!

 I can't believe how big she is!!!

 I painted her nails for the first time, and she loved it!!

 I made these amazing things yesterday! The bottom layer is pretzles, then peanut butter cookie, then Reeces peanut butter cups, then brownies. mmmm!

Mother's Day

I'm super behind. This year, I had my first Mother's Day as a mommy. :) The Friday before Mother's Day, Jared planned a romantic dinner for me. It was so cute! He made his own fondue, because we had talked about the Melting Pot and how it would be fun but it's too expensive. So, he took me to this beautiful place by where he works.

 The place was so beautiful! And, they had music playing so we danced. :)

Then on Mother's day, Evlyn and I matched, and took pictures. I don't really have many good ones, but I like the last one. I love being a mommy to my little Evlyn!

1 year old!!

Evlyn turned 1 year on Friday! On Saturday, we had a small party to celebrate with family. Here are some family pictures my sister Aimee took. :)

 And, she also got a new water bottle, which became her new favorite to walk around. She LOVES water!!

 Here's Evlyn's birthday cake! That's a "E" haha it's strange, but oh well. It was a cookie-dough cake, and then normal funfetti cupcakes. I thought the cookie-dough cake turned out soo yummy! I basically did the same thing as the cupcakes for Jared's birthday, but layered the cake so that the cookie-dough didn't have to go in the oven. It was much yummier!

We all had a great day, and I think Evlyn did too!

Smiles, Prom!

My baby girl is growing up soo much!! She turns a year old next week!! CRAZY!!! I love this little outfit she's in!

 I gave her some whipped cream and she got messy! I realized I try to keep her pretty clean so she doesn't get everything dirty, but I don't want her being scared getting messy. She ate a lot of it too!

 My little smarty pants is too smart sometimes. She tasted a little bit of chocolate, and saw another candy bar on a shelf too high for her. So, she dumped this box of raisins on the ground, stepped on it, and got the candy bar. She walked around the house with it smiling. :)

 She has also started smiling for the camera!! yay!! Here are some cute smiles she gave me when I pulled out my camera.

 On Tuesdays, some of my friends and I go swimming with our children. We call it "Tan Tuesdays". Here's Evlyn in her cute little swimsuit! You can't tell from this picture, but she LOVES the water!! She kept trying to walk into the pool, and when I took her out, she almost jumped out of my arms to get back in!

On Friday, April 20, we went to the Mormon prom for adults (the night b4 the one for the youth.) Our friends Laurice and Mary watched Evlyn for us, which was sooo nice! We had a much needed dance date, and had a blast!!

*Evlyn walk soo well now!!
*As mentioned above, she is a water baby!
*Her hair is looking more red, and will def. be curly!
*Her eyes are changing to look more like Jared's (brown with a little bit of green)
*She loves to carry things when she walks, even things that are bigger than her!
*She loves to watch other kids play
*She is such a good baby!!
*She loves to play peek-a-boo and does it by herself!
